EMPTY TENANTS ARMS TARGETED BY VANDALS.

The Tenants Arms in Lhanbryde has been the target for Vandals in recent months since lying empty.

Windows have been smashed and sightings of lights getting switched on and off at night have all been witnessed by local residents.

Councilor for Lhanbryde Sean Morton was also contacted by local residents about the vandalism to the Tenants Arms.

Sean said on his Facebook Page:

The broken windows in The Tennants were brought to my attention today and I've asked the council to ensure the owner takes action. A gust of wind could easily mean these broken panes cause injury to passers by.

But this wasn't done by the owner - let's not forget. If you see someone vandalising property - even empty property like this please report it.

Sean also thanked local residents for bringing this matter to his attention and informed me that the council would be out to look at the building.
