Reports of a large white flash in the Sky over Moray started coming in at around 7pm tonight.
people from all across Moray have been hitting social media with comments, Video and photographs of this phenomenon.
People have even reported buildings shaking in the area after a huge light followed by a long rumble sound.
The MET office have ruled out thunder and air traffic control have reported no aircraft in distress at that time.
