THIEVES MAKE OFF WITH BICYCLES, KEYS AND CASH IN LOSSIEMOUTH.
Police have reported a number of thefts in Lossiemouth last Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
Bicycles were reported stolen from a property at Bishops Court in Lossiemouth .
A mountain Bike and a child's Voodoo BMX were stolen from a locked garage between the hours of 8:20pm on Saturday night and 7am on Sunday Morning.
A locked black ford fiesta was also a target for thieves who stole a purse and cash from the car around the same time and close to the same location as the bike thefts.
Police are urging anyone who was in the location at the above times and witnessed anyone acting suspicious to contact them.
Sergeant Thomas Gorman said: "I would like to take this opportunity to remind householders and car owners to always keep their homes and vehicles secure when left unattended, and to take all valuables out of vehicles overnight.
"Leaving your valuables on display or in an insecure place only gives thieves a better chance of success.
"It only takes a few minutes - sometimes seconds - to enter a home, car or garage to steal valuables, however the results can cause immeasurable distress and expense.
"Please lock up and be vigilant and do not take the security of your belongings for granted."
Anyone with information about the thefts should contact Police Scotland on 101 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
