Hannah's gift to Children's Cancer Charity.
Hannah Robertson did something very special with her long hair last week.
Hannah (10) a pupil at Lhanbryde Primary School decided to do something amazing on Friday and donate her hair to the Little Princess Trust who provide real hair for wigs for children suffering from hair loss due to cancer treatment.
Hannah said:
"I've always liked my long hair but some children need it more than me, some children are going
through a very difficult time and losing all their hair must be awful. It must be horrible to have cancer and losing all your hair must make things harder for them. I hope my hair can make someone smile again".
Hannah visited K & M Barbers in Elgin on Friday where Olga a hair stylist gave Hannah her new grown up Hair style after cutting off Hannah's long plat for the cancer Charity.
Olga Said:
"what a lovely brave gesture"
Hannah's Mam and Dad are very proud of the thoughtfulness Hannah has shown to those less fortunate than herself.
Hannah now plans to grow her hair long again so she can help more Child cancer sufferers.
Well done Hannah.
